The
people in Netherlands
are very friendly. I can easily
get around town by speaking English. One thing needs to remember is the
pickpockets or someone that snaps your purses and runs away;
so keep
a close
watch at your belongings.
There
are so many canals and rivers around the
cities, and that make it very unique. I like to walk between the
Centraal
Station and Dam Square. There are a lot of shops along the Rokin
Damrak,
Nieuwendijk and Voorburgwal.

When
you are tired of walking, get to one of the canal boats to explore the
cities. You should be able to get to one along the Damrak near
the Centraal Station. |

The 4
big museums and galleries are

Expect
to spend at least half a day on each of these museums. Both
the Rijksmuseum and Vincent Museum can be reached by tram numbers 2 and
5 from the Central Station.

The observation deck of Euromast is designed to be not too high from
the ground, so the visitors can see people, cars, and bicycles on
the ground while still being able to appreciate Rotterdam's
fast-changing skyline.

During
the sunny summer time, the Scheveningen beach will be packed
with people. From the Den Haag central train station, try to catch a
tram number 1, the tram will pass the Delft and the final stop is
Scheveningen. There are cinema, shopping mall, pier and beaches.

| Delft
in Den Haag (The Hague) is a quiet and intimate town. I love to spend
an afternoon there. |

The
Zaanse Schans is a fully open-air conservation located 9 miles north of
Amsterdam. You can find wooden shoemaker, bakery, cheese farm and
windmills. There are direct trains per hour that take you from
Amsterdam Central Station to the Koog-Zaandijk station in 17 minutes.
Visit the VVV tourist center near the Central Station to get more
detail, or join the half day trip tour.
