Two weeks after the lunar New Year, there will be a Chinese New Year night illuminated parades in San Francisco from Market to Kearny streets.
There were multiple dancing lions, dragon dances, marching bands and decorated floats for the 2 hours more parade.
There were also a lot of firecrackers exploded throughout the night as part of the parade festival.

Children were given Red Lai-See Envelopes , some candies wrapped in little red envelopes, during the parade.

Some years, people needed to bring their umbrellas to the parade. The Year of Pig of 2007 was a dry and warm one.

Music all night long.

Schoolchildren wore their piggy costumes while marching on the parade route.

Not only we had couple dragon dances, we got a dragon float too.

It makes sense for a casino to sponsor a float of 'Gung Hay Fat Choy' (be rich).

In order to retain the integrity of the Parade, participants are asked to tie their float or specialty unit to a Chinese cultural theme.

BART would run up to 10-car trains and would call in extra trains to carry people home.
