San Diego is the southern city in California. Whenever I visited Los Angeles, I would love to spend 2 days in San Diego.

The only transportation I used so far was by driving my own or the rental car. Everyone in California knows that the best beaches in San Diego are on Coronado Island. Being linked to downtown San Diego by the Island Bay Bridge.

One of the best features on Coronado Island is the world famous Hotel Del Coronado. By the way, along the Orange Blvd have a lot of nice shopping areas.

Its beaches are beautiful, plus it is the warmest in the west coast of California. I usually hanged around the beaches in La Jolla which is about 20 miles north of the San Diego downtown.

Close to downtown La Jolla, there is an area called Casa, which used to be a children's pool. Now, the area has been taken over by seals and sea lions.

Although children can't swim here anymore, it's a great pastime to lay on the beach and watch the seals and sea lions play.

'The Cove' is the underwater park that a lot of divers do scuba diving or snorkeling there. There is a park in Point La Jolla called Ellen Scripps Browning Park, and a five to ten minutes walk toward the town, you will find shops and restaurants along the blouvard.

Old Town San Diego SHP State Historic Park
The park is located on San Diego Avenue and Twiggs Street. Address: 4002 Wallace St, San Diego, CA, USA.
It is just north of the downtown San Diego.

I have been in couple 'old towns', but this one is dated back to 1870. The park has historic buildings and homes around. I loved its stores around the park area, they sells all kind of arts, crafts and special souvinors.

Do not forget to eat at one of the Mexican restaurants inside the Old Town San Diego Park.

San Diego WILD Animals Park

inside the san diego wild animals park

is located at 15500 San Pasqual Valley Road, Escondido, California 92027-7017.
It was an unique experience by watching all those animals wandering in such a wide open space.  It is a pure fun for the whole family. If you get there early, you can sign up to take a tour that will allow you to feed the giraffes on an open van. This service will cost additional charge.

San Diego Zoo
Address: 2920 Zoo Drive, San Diego, CA 92101.
I loved to go to the San Diego Zoo, I had been there couple times. One time when I heard the chinese panda would be one of its exhibition, I got couple days off from work and drove down here to see the it. The zoo successfully helped the mother panda to deliever the baby panda in its facilities.
